Twitch, a live streaming service, is seeking candidates for a UX Designer position focused on community engagement. The role is part of the UX Community team, which is responsible for creating and maintaining experiences that support streamer communities and viewer engagement across the platform. The position can be based at Twitch’s headquarters in San Francisco, or at hub locations in Seattle, Irvine, or New York City.

The responsibilities for this role include collaborating with product managers, engineers, and designers, learning from streamers and viewers, and contributing to the design community at Twitch. The designer will also be expected to use both qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions and present work during design reviews.

The position requires at least five years of design experience, with three years specifically in UX or interaction design, and at least two years working on consumer web or mobile products. Candidates must have an online portfolio and experience with prototyping tools such as HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, or Axure. Experience working in collaborative teams and directly with developers is also required.

The compensation for this role varies by location, with a base pay range from $106,000 to $184,000 per year. Total compensation may include equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits, in addition to medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance, 401(k), parental leave, flexible paid time off, and an Amazon employee discount.
