Snapchat has partnered with The Royal Canadian Legion to offer new digital options for Canadians to commemorate Remembrance Day. The platform introduced two Bitmoji stickers featuring the Poppy, a symbol widely recognized in Canada as representing remembrance of veterans.

These stickers can be used in Chats, Stories, and Snaps, allowing users to express their gratitude and honor the sacrifices made by Canadian veterans through digital communication.

The Royal Canadian Legion emphasized the significance of the Poppy, stating: “every year, from the last Friday of October to Remembrance Day, tens of millions of Canadians wear a Poppy as a visual pledge to honour Canada’s Veterans and Remember those who sacrificed for the freedoms we enjoy today.”

Snapchat stated its intention behind this initiative: “We’re honoured to make these stickers available to our community, helping Canadians share their respect and reflection in a personal and creative way.”
