Snap Inc. has announced a series of new features and tools aimed at supporting content creation on Snapchat. The company reports that over 1 billion Snaps are shared publicly each month by users, creators, and partners.

One of the new additions is the “Create a Video” template from Memories. This feature, now available globally on iOS, allows users to quickly create Lens-powered videos using their saved Memories. Users can select several Memories, choose music from Snapchat’s Sounds library, pick a template, and generate a custom video compilation.

The company also highlighted growth in engagement, noting an increase in total time spent viewing content year-over-year. In response to this trend, Snap Inc. has introduced expanded insights for Stories and Spotlight to help creators better understand their audience and optimize their content.

A significant update for creators is the Auto-Save Stories to Public Profiles feature. With this tool, Snapchatters can automatically save public Stories directly to their profiles so fans can revisit creator content beyond the standard 24-hour window. According to Snap Inc., “the new feature, coming soon to creators around the world, helps creators build a lasting collection of their best moments, giving fans a deeper look into their creative journey and making it easier to keep content alive, accessible, and meaningful over time.”

These updates are part of Snap Inc.’s ongoing efforts to support authentic storytelling and enhance user experience on its platform.
