Riverside has introduced two new programs aimed at supporting local businesses during the holiday season.

The first program, Riverside Rewards, is a digital loyalty initiative that allows shoppers to earn up to five percent rewards on purchases made at participating small businesses in the city. The program began on December 10 and is designed to encourage residents and visitors to shop locally, which helps strengthen neighborhood businesses and keeps holiday spending within the community.

The second program, called the Riverside Hot Chocolate Trail, invites people to visit cafés and coffee shops throughout Riverside. Both initiatives will continue through the end of the holiday season.

“These programs bring people together and celebrate local entrepreneurship,” said Miranda Evans, Riverside’s community and economic development director.
