Riverside County has opened its annual budget priorities survey, inviting residents to share their views on how tax dollars should be allocated among county departments and services for the upcoming fiscal year. The survey will remain open until February 26 and is available online in both English and Spanish.

According to a statement on the county’s website, the results of the survey will be presented to the board of supervisors before they adopt a new budget. Board chair V. Manuel Perez stated, “I am glad to see us continue our outreach to community members to participate during the budget process. We want to hear what is most important to you in your county government.”

In addition to the survey, Riverside County plans to hold five budget workshops across different locations in April. Further details about these sessions are expected soon.
