Riverside is set to open the Arlington Park Pickleball Complex, with a grand opening event planned for 10 a.m. on December 13. The new facility features nine courts and was built at a reported cost of $1.1 million over the course of nearly one year.
According to information from the city’s website, this project is part of Riverside’s broader initiative to expand recreational opportunities for residents across different age groups. Two of the courts are equipped with bleachers intended for tournament use, while all nine courts have lighting installed.
The complex forms part of the larger Riverside Sports Complex & Entertainment District, which is being developed on the site previously occupied by the Ab Brown Sports Complex.
The grand opening event is free and open to all members of the public. General access to Arlington Park is available at 9598 Miller St., with an additional entrance at 3860 Van Buren Blvd.
