Prime Video has released a new trailer for the second season of “Maxton Hall—The World Between Us,” which will be available exclusively on its streaming platform. The series, based on Mona Kasten’s best-selling novels, returns after a successful first season that premiered in May 2024 and became Prime Video’s most watched International Original series. The show has already been renewed for a third season.

Season 2 is adapted from “Save You,” the second book in Kasten’s young-adult series. The first three episodes will debut on Friday, November 7, in more than 240 countries and territories. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly until the finale on Friday, November 28.

“Prime Video is included with a Prime membership, which anyone in the U.S. can join for $14.99 per month or $139 per year.”

The upcoming season continues the story of Ruby (Harriet Herbig-Matten) and James (Damian Hardung). After a significant event in James’s family disrupts their relationship, Ruby struggles with heartbreak and tries to return to her previous life but finds it difficult to move on as James attempts to reconcile.

The cast also features Sonja Weißer as Lydia, Ben Felipe as Cyril, Fedja van Huêt as Mortimer, Runa Greiner as Ember, Justus Riesner as Alistair, Andrea Guo as Lin, Frederic Balonier as Kieran, and Eli Riccardi as Elaine. Martin Schreier returns as director for Season 2.

All six episodes from Season 1 are currently available on Prime Video for subscribers. The platform also offers other titles such as “Cruel Intentions,” “Picture This,” “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” and “Culpa Tuya.” Many titles offer multiple language options for subtitles or audio tracks. Additionally, Prime Video provides AI-aided dubbing on select licensed movies and series that would not have been dubbed otherwise.
