Amazon MGM Studios has received 24 nominations for the 2025 Emmy Awards. The Boys led Prime Video’s nominees with four nods, including a nomination for Giancarlo Esposito as Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Stan Edgar. The show also won three Creative Arts Emmys: Outstanding Stunt Performance, Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics, and Outstanding Stunt Coordination for Drama Programming.
Étoile, an eight-episode series set in New York City and Paris, earned two nominations. It won Outstanding Choreography for Scripted Programming and was nominated for Outstanding Casting for a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
Other nominated series include The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, which was recognized for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or a Movie; Invincible, with Steven Yeun nominated for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance; and Secret Level, whose episode “Warhammer 40,000: They Shall Know No Fear” was nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing for an Animated Program.
Octopus!, a documentary produced by Phoebe Waller-Bridge, earned her a nomination for Outstanding Narrator. Pop Culture Jeopardy! saw Colin Jost nominated as Outstanding Host for a Game Show. I Am: Celine Dion received a nomination for Exceptional Merit in Documentary Filmmaking.
MGM-produced shows such as Survivor, The Voice, The Handmaid’s Tale, and Shark Tank were also among the nominees.
The 77th Emmy Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles. Creative Arts Emmys were awarded earlier on September 6 and September 7.
Prime Video users can watch these Emmy-nominated series and films with their membership. Additional Emmy Award-nominated content is available through add-on subscriptions from services like HBO Max (including titles such as The Last of Us and Hacks), Apple TV+ (featuring Severance), and Paramount+ (offering Lioness).
According to Amazon MGM Studios’ plans reported previously, the studio aims to release 14 films in theaters next year. This slate includes titles such as ‘The Accountant 2,’ ‘Mercy,’ and ‘Verity.’
