Prime Video will broadcast the Skins Game golf event on November 28, marking the return of a well-known television franchise that last aired in 2008. The event is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. ET and will be available exclusively to Prime Video subscribers.
Charlie Neiman, Prime Video’s head of sports partnerships, commented on the relaunch: “We’re thrilled to help relaunch the Skins Game as part of an unprecedented day of live sports on Prime Video this Black Friday. Partnering with PGA TOUR Studios, Pro Shop, and Propagate Content to broadcast this storied event with four of the game’s most captivating stars opens more than 15 hours of exclusive live sports coverage on Prime Video, and underscores our commitment to delivering innovative, premium sports programming to fans around the world.”
The Skins Game will feature notable golfers including 2025 FedExCup champion Tommy Fleetwood, 16-time PGA TOUR winner Justin Thomas, two-time major champion Xander Schauffele, and eight-time PGA TOUR winner Keegan Bradley. The competition will take place at Panther National golf course in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
This year’s format will keep to tradition: each hole has a set dollar value, and if players tie a hole, its value carries over to the next one. However, this edition introduces a “reverse purse,” where each player starts with $1 million on their scoreboard. Players’ totals will increase or decrease depending on their performance at each hole.
Prime membership includes access to Prime Video for $14.99 per month or $139 per year. Discounted memberships are available for young adults and qualifying government assistance recipients at half price. A 30-day free trial is also offered for new members.
Prime Video can be streamed via web browsers or through apps on smartphones, tablets, set-top boxes, game consoles, and select smart TVs. Content can also be downloaded for offline viewing on iOS, Android, and Fire devices.
In addition to the Skins Game coverage this Black Friday morning, Prime Video’s day of sports includes the third annual Black Friday Football game and an NBA doubleheader. Looking ahead to 2026, Prime Video plans to expand its sports content by streaming two additional hours from both the first and second rounds of the Masters Tournament.
The Skins Game was originally introduced in 1983 as an unofficial PGA TOUR event featuring prominent players such as Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. It became known for its high-stakes format and competitive atmosphere among top golfers.
