Amazon Prime Video has announced its lineup of new releases for September, highlighting a mix of original series, films, and live sports programming.
The action-drama series “Hotel Costiera” debuts on September 24. The show follows Daniel De Luca (Jesse Williams), a half Italian former U.S. Marine who returns to Italy as a fixer at a luxury hotel in Positano while searching for the owner’s missing daughter, Alice.
Several Amazon Originals are also set to premiere throughout the month. “The Runarounds,” launching September 1, is a music drama about recent high school graduates from Wilmington, North Carolina forming a rock band. Real-life musicians William Lipton, Axel Ellis, Jeremy Yun, Zende Murdock, and Jesse Golliher star in the series.
On September 5, “Dish It Out” begins its run with Tilly Ramsay leading viewers through culinary adventures inspired by online trends and family recipes. The show features Tilly stepping out from her father Gordon Ramsay’s shadow.
September 6 brings “Confidence Queen,” a Korean comedic caper starring Park Min-young, Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk as swindlers targeting corrupt villains through elaborate schemes.
“The Girlfriend,” based on Michelle Frances’s novel and starring Robin Wright and Olivia Cooke, arrives September 10. The psychological drama centers on Laura’s suspicions about her son’s girlfriend Cherry.
Also premiering September 10 is the animated series “Helluva Boss.” Seasons one and two will be available alongside a special episode titled “Mission: Zero.”
Season two of “Every Minute Counts (Cada Minuto Cuenta)” launches September 12. The series depicts the aftermath of an earthquake in Mexico City as survivors search for loved ones amid ongoing threats.
Comedian Larry the Cable Guy presents his new special “It’s a Gift” on September 12 with material focused on family life and modern absurdities.
“Gen V,” the spinoff set in the world of “The Boys,” returns for its second season on September 17. The story continues at Godolkin University under new leadership as tensions rise between humans and superpowered individuals.
Prime Video will also feature live sports events throughout September. Baseball fans can watch New York Yankees games against teams such as the Houston Astros (September 3), Detroit Tigers (September 10), and Minnesota Twins (September 17). National Women’s Soccer League matches include Racing Louisville FC vs. Portland Thorns (September 5) and other fixtures later in the month. Thursday Night Football resumes with matchups like Washington Commanders at Green Bay Packers (September 11) and Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills (September 18). WNBA games are scheduled for early September as well.
Other upcoming content includes new episodes of “Betty la Fea: The Story Continues” and “The Terminal List: Dark Wolf.” Films arriving to Prime Video range from classics like “Casino” (1995) to newer titles such as “Morbius” (2022) and “The First Omen” (2024).
