Moreno Valley has received recognition for its video production efforts. The National Association of Telecommunications Officers & Advisors (NATOA) recently presented the city with Government Programming Awards in four categories: environmental, live community coverage, public service announcement, and public safety. This information was shared in a statement on the city’s website.

The videos honored were created internally by Moreno Valley’s Media & Communications Division. The city competes against larger municipalities such as Denver, Los Angeles, San Diego, Seattle, and Washington, D.C.

“I am consistently impressed with our Media & Communications Division’s level of talent, professionalism, and innovation,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera in the statement. “Year after year, their hard work is deservedly recognized on the national stage.”

NATOA is a nonprofit organization that assists local governments and regional officials in developing and managing cable television stations and other telecommunications systems.
