Moreno Valley has expanded its WiFi Gardens program by adding 14 new locations in the southeast part of the Edgemont neighborhood. The newly covered area stretches from Frederick Street to Day Street, and from Alessandro Boulevard south to Bay Avenue and Cottonwood Golf Center to the north, according to information on the city’s website.

The Edgemont neighborhood is located on Moreno Valley’s western edge. With this expansion, there are now 62 WiFi Garden sites throughout the city. The program provides free internet access for residents and visitors at parks and other public facilities.

“Access to reliable internet is essential for education, job searches, small businesses, and staying connected with loved ones,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera in the statement. “By expanding our WiFi Gardens in the Edgemont corridor, we are continuing to invest in digital equity and opportunity for Moreno Valley families.”
