Ivy Geilker has been named Special Representative for the IAM Healthcare Department, effective September 1, 2025. The appointment was made by International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) International President Brian Bryant. Geilker will serve under IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett.

Geilker joined IAM Healthcare as an Associate Organizer and has played a key role in several organizing campaigns. These efforts brought new members to The Pharmacy Guild/IAM from companies such as CVS, Walgreens, and Safeway Pharmacy. The new members include pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff at these major employers.

Prior to joining IAM Healthcare in February 2024, Geilker worked as Senior Lead Organizer with the Colorado State Employees’ Union. In that position, she led a team representing workers across various sectors including state hospitals, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, and university campuses.

“Ivy’s success in organizing pharmacists and technicians at major corporations has contributed to the IAM’s impressive growth in the healthcare industry,” said IAM Resident General Vice President Jody Bennett. “Her tireless work to build The Pharmacy Guild/IAM has given a voice to hardworking professionals who provide care to our families and communities.”
