IAM Local SC 711 members employed by M1 Support Services and its subcontractors at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas have ratified a new three-year collective bargaining agreement. The contract, effective January 1, 2026, covers workers in 29 job classifications including aircraft mechanics, avionics technicians, supply clerks, and librarians.
The agreement provides for an 11.4% compounded general wage increase over the term of the contract—4.5% in the first year, 3.5% in the second year, and 3% in the third year. Other terms include increased paid leave with eight additional hours of sick leave for all members, a 5% increase in 401(k) contributions, maintenance of the IAM pension plan, an extra $390 per month earned during the contract period, and company-paid increases to a rehabilitation plan. The contract also introduces new on-call and standby pay provisions as well as language protecting overtime pay.

I thank the committee for their efforts, our members for standing strong, and IAM Aerospace Coordinator Denise Heath, whose expertise and steady guidance were key to securing this strong agreement.”

IAM Local SC 711 became an independent local chapter in 2016 after previously being part of another amalgamated local located more than 25 miles away. Members decided to form their own local chapter so they could better address specific needs within their workplace environment.
