On Giving Tuesday, Guide Dogs of America | Tender Loving Canines (GDA | TLC) has launched its Holidays of Hope fundraiser. The organization is seeking donations to support individuals in need of service dogs.
The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) identifies GDA | TLC as its preferred charity. The funds raised will help provide service dogs to military veterans with PTSD, people who are blind or visually impaired, and children with autism.
According to the announcement, “Each donation you make today will directly benefit a military veteran with PTSD, a person who is blind or visually impaired, or a child with autism who needs the life-changing confidence, love, and hope that a service dog provides.”
Supporters are encouraged to contribute to GDA | TLC during this fundraising campaign.
