Disney has launched its annual World Princess Week, featuring a series of events, new content, and product releases celebrating the legacy of Disney princesses. The initiative is part of the ongoing “Create Your World” campaign, which aims to encourage children to use their imaginations and discover their own unique qualities.

The week began with the release of a new musical brand spot titled “All Princesses Make Magic,” featuring music by seven-time Grammy Award winner Jacob Collier. The spot depicts two sisters who organize a surprise birthday party for their mother, drawing inspiration from Disney princesses. Santino Fontana, known for his role as Hans in “Frozen,” appears as the father in the commercial.

Mallory Wang, Vice President of Brand Marketing at The Walt Disney Company, commented on the occasion: “For over a century, Disney has enchanted audiences across generations with timeless stories that ignite the imagination, and Disney princesses remain an enduring part of our storytelling—inspiring kids and fans of all ages to go beyond dreaming big, to doing big things. We created this special musical brand spot in celebration of World Princess Week, the countless Disney Princess fans around the world, and the limitless power of their imaginations.”

A highlight of this year’s celebration is “Disney Princess Concert: Celebrating 70 Years of Disneyland,” which will be available on YouTube on August 29 and later on Disney+. The concert features performances by Auli‘i Cravalho (Moana), Jodi Benson (Ariel), Paige O’Hara (Belle), and Anika Noni Rose (Tiana). Ginnifer Goodwin and Susan Egan serve as hosts for this event filmed at Disneyland Park’s Sleeping Beauty Castle.

Additional content includes an interview video with Jodi Benson riding “The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure” alongside singer Lauren Paley. This video will be released on August 27 via Disney’s YouTube channel.

Disney Consumer Products is introducing several new items tied to World Princess Week. These include Jakks Pacific Majestic Dresses, a Pampered Pup set from Style Collection, bracelets from Little Words Project, DIFF Eyewear designs inspired by princesses, Pandora’s updated ring collection featuring popular characters, Squishmallows box sets with sidekicks, Cakeworthy apparel collections, and themed books such as “Disney Princess: Princesses Love School!” Recent launches also feature Mattel’s Pet Palace playsets and LEGO Group’s castle sets with animal companions like Pascal and Flounder.

Streaming platform Disney+ is participating by offering exclusive programming such as “LEGO Disney Princess: Villains Unite” and launching a dedicated “Disney Princess” stream for Premium subscribers. Subscribers can also enter sweepstakes for prizes including vinyl records and book box sets through disneyplus.com/perks.

Families can access educational content about real animals that inspired princess sidekicks through NatGeoKids’ YouTube channel. Additional programming will roll out throughout the year across ABC and Hulu platforms.

To mark Tangled’s 15th anniversary, fans can pre-order a collector’s edition zoetrope vinyl from Disney Music Emporium. New albums like “Disney Princess Strings: Garden Soirée” are now available on major streaming services including Spotify and Apple Music. In October 2025, AMP Worldwide will launch a North American tour featuring live performances accompanying screenings of Moana; more details are available online.

As part of its collaboration with Make-A-Wish Foundation—an organization it supports globally—Disney granted over 100 wishes during World Princess Week this year. Activities included inviting wish recipients to attend live tapings at Disneyland Resort or enjoy themed experiences aboard cruise ships in Rome or at Disneyland Paris.

Social media users are encouraged to follow updates using #DisneyPrincessCreateYourWorld or #WorldPrincessWeek.
