Disney and Snapchat have announced a joint marketing campaign to promote the release of Zootopia 2. The collaboration aims to bring elements from the film into both digital and real-world environments.

The campaign includes out-of-home (OOH) activations at well-known locations in Los Angeles, such as The Grove and The Americana. Fans visiting theaters for Zootopia 2 will see an on-screen reference to Snapchat, where the character Clawhauser takes a selfie with an augmented reality (AR) Lens during a Gazelle concert, reimagining Snapchat as “Snapcat.”

On the app, U.S.-based Snapchat users will receive a Sponsored Snap featuring characters from Zootopia 2 directly in their chat inboxes. Additionally, seven new AR Lenses inspired by the film’s characters will be available globally through a Zootopia 2-branded AR Bar in the Lens carousel from November 24 to 27.
