Each week, new filings are submitted in proceedings that affect California’s utility services and consumers. The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has announced the addition of several items for the week of September 1-5, 2025.

The CPUC reports that Proposed Decisions are available for public comment. Members of the public can submit written comments directly on a proceeding’s Docket Card. Those interested in ongoing updates may also subscribe to the CPUC’s Subscription Service by using a specific proceeding number.

For the week covered, two notable Proposed Decisions have been listed:

In Proceeding A25-01-008, filed on September 2, 2025, there is a Proposed Decision regarding the revocation of the certificate of public convenience and necessity for California Water Service Company’s Millerton District.

In Proceeding R12-02-009, filed on September 5, 2025, there is a Proposed Decision denying two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036.

“Submit a public comment on any Proposed Decision via the CPUC Docket Card.”

“Subscribe to a proceeding using its number to receive future updates.”

The full text and supporting documents for each filing can be accessed through their respective Docket Cards on the CPUC website. These actions provide opportunities for public participation in regulatory decisions affecting utilities across California.
