Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) adds new filings to ongoing and new proceedings that affect utility services, communities, and consumers in California. These filings include Proposed Decisions—some of which are open for public comment—as well as new complaints or applications that could influence future policy and regulatory actions.

For the week of September 8-12, 2025, several key filings were made. Among them is a Proposed Decision in Proceeding A25-04-015, filed by San Diego Gas & Electric Company. The company seeks authority to establish a ratemaking mechanism for energization projects under Senate Bill 410. This filing is currently open for public comment through the proceeding’s Docket Card.

Another notable item is in Proceeding R20-02-008, where a Proposed Decision was filed on September 8, 2025. This decision denies two petition requests to modify decision 12-12-036.

Additionally, a new complaint was filed in Proceeding C25-08-017 by Pilot Services, LLC. The application seeks registration as a Telephone Corporation pursuant to Public Utilities Code Section 1013.

Members of the public can participate by submitting comments on any Proposed Decision via the CPUC Docket Card or subscribing to specific proceedings using their numbers to receive updates and notices.

“Stay Informed and Make Your Voice Heard!” states the CPUC press release regarding participation in these regulatory processes.
