Each week, the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) publishes new filings related to utility services in the state. These filings can influence policies and regulations that affect communities and consumers. The filings for the week of November 17 to November 21, 2025, include proposed decisions open for public comment as well as new complaints and applications.
One proposed decision involves Pacific Gas and Electric Company. The decision concerns approval of the company’s 2026 energy resource recovery account forecast revenue requirement and its electric sales forecast for the same year.
Among new applications, TimbukTech, Inc. has filed for registration as a telephone corporation under Public Utilities Code Section 1013.
There are also two complaints filed this week. One is against CSC Holding LLC, operating as Optimum Communication Inc., with allegations of overbilling and not following agreement terms. Another complaint is against AT&T California, citing billing errors and failure to provide landline service.
Additionally, an order has been instituted to update the California LifeLine Program.
The CPUC encourages public participation by allowing written comments on proposed decisions through each proceeding’s Docket Card. Individuals can also subscribe to specific proceedings to receive updates about rulings and notices from the commission.
