California hotels announce wide-ranging travel deals for spring visitors

Travelers planning a spring getaway to California can take advantage of a range of hotel and attraction deals across the state, according to recent announcements from hospitality providers.

In Northern California, several offers are available. Dana Hotel in San Diego provides guests with two free any-day tickets to SeaWorld San Diego and transportation to and from the park. Grass Valley’s Holbrooke Hotel is offering 15 percent off for last-minute stays or a daily $50 dining credit through March 31 for those booking at least two nights. At The Costanoa Coastal Lodge and Camp in Pescadero, visitors can receive half off rates during full moon and new moon dates in March and April.

For outdoor enthusiasts, McCloud Hotel has introduced a fly fishing package that includes lodging, breakfast, guided fishing with outfitter Jack Trout, all necessary gear, and a barbecue picnic lunch along local rivers. The package starts at $700 for the first night with discounts for additional nights.

Napa Valley hotels are targeting soccer fans traveling to Levi’s Stadium this summer by offering up to 25 percent off regular rates and dining credits during tournament dates. Other Napa Valley promotions include seasonal dining credits tied to the region’s Mustard Season.

Dog owners visiting Mendocino County can book the Water Dog package at Little River Inn, which features an ocean-view room, dining credit, and a dog-friendly kayak or canoe tour between May 1 and September 30.

AutoCamp resorts throughout California—including locations near Sonoma County, Yosemite, Sequoia, and Joshua Tree—are providing a Wellness Deal with 25 percent off rates plus a general store credit for bookings made by February 17 for stays through April 30.

Central California options include Mammoth Mountain’s Stay and Play deal (20 percent off weekday rates), Palisades Tahoe’s discounts on lift tickets (up to 40 percent), Visalia’s Darling Hotel offering reduced rates through March 31 with late checkout perks, Santa Barbara’s third-night-free promotion at select properties into late spring or year-end depending on location, Ojai’s fourth-night-free offer during Pixie Tangerine Month in April at Ojai Valley Inn.

In Southern California, Universal Studios Hollywood has discounted two-day admission starting at $149 ($118 for children). Shade Hotels in Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach provide guests with reduced room rates plus food credits during spring months. Big Bear Mountain is bundling lift tickets while Pasadena’s Langham Huntington offers savings on longer stays.

Santa Monica’s Pierside Hotel is celebrating Route 66’s centennial with themed packages including dining credits and commemorative gifts valid through December. Venice V Hotel gives weekend suite discounts when booked seven days ahead; West Hollywood’s sustainability-focused boutique hotel offers up to 25 percent off plus substantial dining credits; Jamaica Bay Inn in Marina del Rey includes complimentary parking and breakfast packages; Knott’s Berry Farm bundles festival access with overnight stays next door; Disneyland Resort advertises up to 25 percent savings on its hotels as well as discounted children’s park tickets between late May and early September.

Additional regional deals feature Rancho Mirage resort discounts before May ends; Temecula Creek Inn unlimited golf packages on weekdays; LEGOLAND California hotel savings alongside special-priced children admissions until year-end; La Jolla’s Lodge at Torrey Pines giving every third night free through June or alternative discounts when combined with zoo ticket purchases; Ocean Park Inn in San Diego providing beach cruiser rentals alongside rate reductions until end of May.
