The AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP) is seeking a Senior Strategic Creative Lead to guide creative strategy and execution for its Communications, Events, & Executive Engagement (ACE) team. The role involves designing and implementing creative communications that support ASP’s goals, focusing on both digital and in-person experiences for audiences across the AWS Partner Network.

The position requires developing integrated creative plans that highlight ASP’s vision to internal and external groups globally. Responsibilities include producing visual content for executive communications, major meetings, and events to showcase AWS’s business value. The candidate will also lead efforts in visual storytelling aimed at technical and executive stakeholders.

Key qualifications include over eight years of experience in agency or in-house creative roles, expertise with design tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote, and familiarity with AI/ML technologies. Experience managing teams and campaigns for enterprise brands is required.

Candidates are expected to have strong art direction skills, the ability to use generative AI tools for scaling creative work, experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, and the capacity to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. The role emphasizes customer focus, innovative thinking, curiosity about new design technologies, and the willingness to take calculated risks.

“AWS is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. We pioneered cloud computing and never stopped innovating — that’s why customers from the most successful startups to Global 500 companies trust our robust suite of products and services to power their businesses,” according to an AWS statement.

AWS highlights its commitment to diversity by encouraging applicants from varied backgrounds—even those who do not meet all preferred qualifications—to apply. “AWS values diverse experiences. Even if you do not meet all of the preferred qualifications and skills listed in the job description, we encourage candidates to apply. If your career is just starting, hasn’t followed a traditional path, or includes alternative experiences, don’t let it stop you from applying.”

The company also notes its inclusive culture: “AWS values curiosity and connection. Our employee-led and company-sponsored affinity groups promote inclusion and empower our people to take pride in what makes us unique.”

Regarding career development opportunities at AWS: “We’re continuously raising our performance bar as we strive to become Earth’s Best Employer. That’s why you’ll find endless knowledge-sharing, mentorship and other career-advancing resources here to help you develop into a better-rounded professional.”

Work-life balance is emphasized as well: “We value work-life harmony. Achieving success at work should never come at the expense of sacrifices at home, which is why we strive for flexibility as part of our working culture.”

Amazon states it is an equal opportunity employer: “Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.”

For applicants in Los Angeles County: Job duties include working safely with others; adhering to standards despite stress; effective communication; following laws; exercising sound judgment; managing stress; professionalism; safeguarding operations; trustworthiness—and criminal history may affect eligibility per local ordinances.

Accommodations are available during hiring for individuals with disabilities through Amazon’s dedicated resource page at https://amazon.jobs/content/en/how-we-hire/accommodations.

Compensation varies based on geographic location within the US from $127,100 up to $210,300 annually plus potential equity or sign-on bonuses depending on experience level. Additional benefits information can be found at https://www.aboutamazon.com/workplace/employee-benefits.
