Animated ‘The Chosen Adventures’ to premiere on Prime Video in October

Prime Video will debut “The Chosen Adventures,” an animated series inspired by the world of “The Chosen,” on October 17. The show centers on two children, Abby and Joshua, living in ancient Capernaum, whose lives are transformed after meeting Jesus of Nazareth. The series also features a talking sheep voiced by Paul Walter Hauser.

“The Chosen Adventures” consists of 14 episodes, each running eleven minutes. It is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and 5&2 Studios. The voice cast includes Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Paul Walter Hauser as Sheep, Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Danny Nucci as Abba, Zehra Fazal as Eema, Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, and Jordin Sparks as Fish.

Ryan Swanson serves as writer, executive producer, and showrunner for the series. Dallas Jenkins is also an executive producer under his 5&2 Studios banner.

Prime Video subscribers can stream the new series with their membership starting October 17. An Amazon Prime subscription costs $14.99 per month or $139 annually and offers additional benefits such as fast shipping and exclusive deals. Discounted memberships are available for young adults aged 18 to 24 and college students through Prime for Young Adults—these users receive a six-month trial followed by a reduced rate of $7.49 per month or $69 per year. Government-assistance recipients may access Prime Access at $6.99 per month after a free 30-day trial.
