Applicants must have a PhD in Economics or related fields such as Quantitative Marketing or Finance. Required qualifications include expertise in econometric analysis involving fundamental preferences and strategic effects estimation; strong statistical methodology skills; experience analyzing pricing strategies, competition issues, labor decisions, healthcare outcomes, auctions or contract design; the ability to work in high-pressure business settings; an established research record; and effective communication skills with both economists and non-economists.

Compensation varies by location within the United States with base pay ranging from $116,300 per year up to $201,000 per year depending on market location as well as job-related knowledge and experience.
