The position is designed to help shape Amazon’s next major business initiative by building an agile and intelligent shipping network that aims to optimize delivery times and strengthen logistics capabilities across all businesses and customers. According to the announcement, “We’re not just entering shipping—we’re transforming how billions of packages move around the globe.” The company said it is looking for candidates who can drive measurable impact on customer business outcomes through technical excellence and strategic innovation.

The company highlighted the need for strong cross-functional collaboration skills. “You collaborate closely with: Global system integrators and ISVs on complex enterprise architectures; Product teams to influence API roadmap; Engineering teams on API platform evolution; Commercial teams on partner strategy; Enterprise customers validating technical solutions; Industry forums as a technical advocate,” according to the announcement.

Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields along with at least ten years of experience in technology-driven solutions within logistics or supply chain technology. The job description also notes that Amazon is an equal opportunity employer committed to inclusive hiring practices.
