The Alliance for Retired Americans will hold its National Membership Meeting and conference from April 27 to 30 at the Sahara Hotel in Las Vegas, according to an announcement on Apr. 2. The event will mark the organization’s 25th anniversary of activism and is set to bring together retired union workers from across the country.

The meeting is significant as it provides a platform for members to strategize, mobilize, and address key issues affecting retirees ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. Attendees will participate in electing national officers, debating and voting on resolutions, and engaging in workshops led by top labor leaders.

According to the announcement, participants can expect a variety of activities including national strategy discussions and a Senior Prom Ball and Dinner. The registration fee for the event is $150, with hotel rates offered at $69 per night. Those interested must register and reserve their accommodations by Monday, April 6.

The Alliance for Retired Americans advocates for pension protection and other rights important to millions of retired union workers. Events like this meeting are designed not only as opportunities for education but also as forums where members can organize collectively around common goals.

As preparations continue for this milestone gathering, organizers emphasize that timely registration is required due to expected high interest among members.
